La Molina
La Macarena, Bogotá, Colombia - 2015
Interior Design | Bespoke furniture design
La Molina is a Peruvian restaurant that has positioned itself as one of the best gastronomic and spatial experiences of the bohemian neighborhood of La Macarena in Bogotá. A long and narrow space, without natural lighting, non-recoverable finishings, and a minimum budget represented a challenge for the design of the proposal. Based on a sensorial investigation of Peruvian aesthetics, a concept was developed that takes advantage of the existing spatial characteristics. An aesthetic curation was carried out in order to achieve a greater sense of sophistication at a very low cost. La Molina is a place that invites comfort with a welcoming and with an unpretentious feeling to it. From the floor pattern, to the lighting, everything was designed exclusively for the restaurant to stay true to the proposed vision.
