This project was envisioned as a sanctuary for a young couple returning to Barranquilla after more than a decade abroad. Captivated by the apartment's stunning ocean views and high ceilings, we proposed removing a third bedroom and bathroom to enhance the social area and create a seamless connection with the surroundings.
The design features a limited palette of materials—wood, stone, and natural fabrics—reflecting the sands and clays visible from the windows, which beautifully ties the interior to the exterior while emphasizing the vibrant hues of the sea and sky.
